To drive our core values of Customer First and Continuous Improvement, we're presenting an exciting new opportunity for an Outside Sales Account Executive with strong drive, a passion to succeed, and entrepreneurial spirit to grow our presence in the Los Angeles, CA area. During training, you will work with our Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Project Management teams; building expertise in product, design, and service. You'll also work with our executive team in operations, sales, and the financials of your territory. As you build competency, you will start to network on the phone and through email with customers in your territory. After successful completion of our training program, we will work with you to set-up your home office. Employing a strategy of high volume prospecting, relationship building, and corporate support, you'll be responsible for the growth of sales for an assigned region within the US.

Here's a General Overview of What You'll be Doing

  • Following up on supplied sales leads
  • Networking with existing customers
  • Prospecting for potential opportunities
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers
  • Customer site visits
  • Preparing and delivering product and project quotes to customers

 

What We're Looking For

  • Sales experience, preferably in a commissioned role
  • Phone, email, and live prospecting
  • Relationship development in a B2B environment
  • A proven competitive or entrepreneurial drive
  • Office furniture or architectural and design experience a possible plus

 

Compensation and Benefits:

For the first 12 months, we pay a straight salary plus bonus incentives. After year one, the position transitions to full commission. We pay a monthly travel allowance and cover home office expenses including internet, fax, phone, and pc hardware. National Business Furniture offers a comprehensive benefit package including Health, dental, vision, STD & LTD, 401k w/ company match & profit sharing, vacation, and personal enrichment reimbursement.
